DUSHANBE, July 7, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tajik delegation, led by Minister of Education Abdujabbor Rahmonov, is attending a regular session of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation (IFHC) that has opened in Moscow today, according to the Ministry of Education (MoE).
The source at a MoE says Rahmonov will also participate at a conference of the CIS education ministers that will take place in the Russian capital on July 8-9.
The events are dedicated to discuss state and prospects of further expansion of cooperation among the CIS states in training of personnel, publication of textbooks and development of contacts between universities of the CIS states, the source noted.
According to him, Tajik delegation consists of Homidullo Faqirov, the head of the science and education department of President’s Executive Office, and Mahmadyusuf Imomov, Chancellor of Russian-Tajik Slavic University (RTSU) in Dushanbe.
