KULOB, July 22, 2010, Asia-Plus /Turko Dikayev/ -- 11,297 babies have been born in the Kulob zone of Khatlon in January-June this year that meets average rates of the last five years, according to the Kulob health department.
In the meantime, 103 cases of stillbirth in the home delivered group have been registered in the area over the report period.
The family planning problem remains topical for the region as only 27.3 percent of women of reproductive age here are using contraceptive agents after childbirths, the source added.
