KULOB, July 22, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Muminobod district in Khatlon province now has 140 medical job vacancies, including 57 physician vacancies, Mirzoali Miraliyev, the deputy head of the Khatlon health directorate in charge of the Kulob zone, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, medical facilities in Muminobod are currently experiencing an acute shortage of pediatricians, dentists, doctors of internal diseases, infection disease doctors, and anesthesiologists.
