DUSHANBE, July 22, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Two poultry factories will reopen after reconstruction in Muminobod and Fayzobod districts until the end of this year, Deputy Agriculture Minister, Sijouddin Isroilov, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
“Reconstruction of the poultry factory in the Muminobod district has practically been completed,” said the deputy minister, “Modern equipment has been delivered to the factory and the first 15,000 broilers will be delivered to the Muminobod poultry factory on Saturday.”
Isroilov added that some 20,000 tons of chicken products were delivered to Tajikistan every year. According to him, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Brazil provide the bulk of Tajikistan’s chicken product imports.
