DUSHANBE, July 30, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The first deputy head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Asanali Karamaliyev, yesterday met here with Mahmadi Tourayev, Tajikistan’s trade representative to Iran, according to the CCI press service.
The two discussed issues related to state and prospects of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran and participation of Tajik entrepreneurs in events organized in Iran.
Preparations for organizations of Iranian exhibition of electrical appliances that is expected to take place in the Tajik capital in September from 18 to 25 was a major topic of the meeting. The exhibition is organized by Tajikistan’s CCI and Ministry of Energy and Industries and the Iranian company, Tavsiya-ye Enerji-ye Pak.
Karamaliyev noted that CCI would provide and install exhibition equipment. He also acquainted Tourayev with the exhibition tariffs and other documents. The sides agreed to prepare the exhibition holding contract in the near future.
