DUSHANBE, August 26, 2010, Asia-Plus -- An exhibition of the prosthetic and orthopedic products opened at the prosthetic plant in Dushanbe today.
The enterprise director Khorkash Rahmonov says the plant has put on display more than 100 items of the prosthetic and orthopedic products and appliances at the exhibition. Among them are orthopedic boots, prosthetic hands and legs, wheelchairs and other appliances.
Besides, prosthetic and orthopedic semi-manufactured articles purchased in Geneva and Russia have also been displayed at the exhibition, Rahmonov said.
In the meantime, the head of the personnel resources department within the Agency for Social Security, Employment and Labor Migration, Rajabali Dushanov, told Asia-Plus that a job fair for disabled people would take place on sidelines of the exhibition. “Economic entities based n Dushanbe will offer more than 200 vacancies to disabled people,” Dushanov said.
