DUSHANBE, September 11, 2010, Asia-Plus -- A large amount of narcotics was seized in Dushanbe on September 10, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
An operation by police led to the arrest of alleged drug peddler, Masrour Vatanshoyev, in Dushanbe. 17.648 kilograms of hashish were confiscated from him, the source said.
Criminal proceedings have bee instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
