KHUJAND, September 20, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Construction of the factory for production of cotton sock has begun in the Mehnatobod settlement in Zafarobod district, Sughd province.
Ismoil Qalandarov, the director of limited liability company, Nikou Khujand, says the founder of the factory is the Khujand Invest Cotton Corporation. “The first line of the factory with capacity of production of 1.5 million pairs of sock for both men and women per year will be introduced into operation by the Day of Tajikistan’s Constitution,” Qalandarov said.
Introduction of the second line into operation will allow doubling the factory’s capacity, he said, noting that 300 people will work with factory.
