DUSHANBE, September 21, 2010, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon yesterday met with Croatian President Ivo Josipović in New York on sidelines of the ongoing 65th session of the UN General Assembly, according to presidential press service.
In the course of the talks, Rahmon, in particular, noted that Tajikistan was interested in further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation with Croatia.
The two leaders agreed that there was considerable room for expansion of economic ties between Tajikistan and Croatia and outlined sectors like hydropower, light industry, science and education as areas that could drive the bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
