DUSHANBE, October 5, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tax arrears of Vose district in Khatlon province rose by 650,000 somoni in nine months to October 1, 2010, reaching 3.507 million somoni, according to the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
Tax officers have inspected Vose enterprises for compliance with the tax legislation requirements and it has been revealed that some enterprises in the district are evading taxes.
The most incorrigible tax-dodgers in Vose are the limited liability companies Arun (338,391 somoni), Okhterak (133,420 somoni) and Kolizey (34,465 somoni) as well as Vose’s branch of waterworks, Vodokanal (50,000 somoni), the source said.
Administration action was imposed on 79 most incorrigible defaulters and more than 847,000 somoni were reimbursed.
