DUSHANBE, October 7, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tajik-Afghan bilateral cooperation in various fields was the focus of a meeting of Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi with his Afghan counterpart Zalmay Rasoul that took place here Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides underlined the significance of cooperation in providing the border security.
Zarifi and Rasoul expressed satisfaction with increasing economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
They also discussed implementation of joint infrastructure development projects and a number of regional issues being of mutual interest.
The meeting resulted in the signing of the protocol of cooperation between the foreign ministries of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
