DUSHANBE, October 9, 2010, Asia-Plus  -- A fair of public associations for youth has opened in Sughd province, Abdulaziz Khalilov, an employee at the public association, GIT-Accent, said.

According to him, the fair opened on October 8 in Ayni district and will move to Panjakent today.  On October 11 the fair will be held in Isfara and on October 13 in Istaravshan.

The main objective of the fair is in acquainting youth with activities of the youth public associations in the country.

Representatives from the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe, Tajik branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF-Tajikistan) and the DAAD Dushanbe Office are also participating in the event, Khalilov said.  “This will give Tajik youth an opportunity to participate in international scholarship programs and study abroad,” he added.
