KONIBODOM, October 13 2010, Asia-Plus -- Since the beginning of the year, 269 teachers have left schools in Konibodom, Sughd province for a number of reasons and 214 teachers have come to work with local schools over the report period.
Konibodom now have 44 teaching vacancies and local education authorities are taking measures to provide schools with sufficient teachers.
According to the Konibodom education department, they have concluded agreements with 112 retried teachers and they have agreed to return to work with schools.
“2,014 students have finished high schools in Konibodom this year and 339 of them have entered higher educational institutions in the country,” said the source, “Besides, 499 of 3,813 school students who have finished 9th grade this year have entered vocational-technical schools and 215 others together with their parents have left for the CIS nations for seasonal work.”
