DUSHANBE, October 16, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The Human Rights Center public association in cooperation with Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF-Tajikistan) and the Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) organizes a roundtable on October 19 to discuss the preliminary edition of a survey on assessment of implementation of the Tajikistan external labor migration program designed for 2006-2010.
According to the Human Rights Center, the findings of the survey, containing information about what has been done in Tajikistan in the field of labor migration over the last four year, will be presented to all interested organizations and persons concerned at the meeting.
The program coordinator, Ms. Nodira Abdulloyev, noted that the meeting participants would offer their additional recommendations to the new national external labor migration strategy for 2011-2015 and the country’s new law on external labor migration.
