DUSHANBE, October 18, 2010, Asia-Plus -- The Dushanbe municipal government plans to build a modern sports complex with swimming pool as part of the municipal plan for redevelopment of the Tajik capital.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says the Dushanbe municipal authorities have announced an open tender for development of project for construction of the complex. “Both local and foreign companies may participate in the tender that will last until November 15,” he said, noting that a tender commission is led by the director of the Agency for Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan.
The new sports complex will be built in Dushanbe’s Firdavsi district, in the area near the Sultoni Kabir market.
