DUSHANBE, October 21, 2010, Asia-Plus  -- Tajik Minister of Finance met with Ambassador of France to Tajikistan, Henry Zipper de Fabiani on October 20.According to the secretariat of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), the two discussed issues related to expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and France in the fields of tax policy, investment attraction, etc.

Implementation of the project for construction of an international terminal at the Dushanbe airport, which is being built under financial support of France, was a major topic of the meeting, th source said.

We will recall that France has provided Tajikistan a long-term, low interest 20 million euro loan to fund the 27 million euro construction of the new terminal at the Dushanbe airport.  Specialists say the project will bring the Dushanbe airport up to international air traffic standards.
