DUSHANBE, December 15, 211, Asia-Plus -- The Migration Service’s office in the northern Sughd province has set up a special commission to monitor departure of migrant workers from the province, the Migration Service press center reports.
Representatives of the commission have worked at the Khujand airport and the railway station in the Bobojonghafurov district since mid-November.
The findings of work of the commission members reportedly show that the main reason for deportation of Tajik labor migration from the Russian Federation is violation of Russia’s migration legislation.
“Thus, 130 Tajiks returned from Moscow to Khujand by flight # 959 on November 29; 22 of them are deported labor migrants. Most of them were deported for failing to have work permits,” the source said.
The Migration Service calls on Tajik nationals wanting to leave to Russia seeking better employment opportunities to respect laws of the country of residence and master basic Russian.
