DUSHANBE, December 22, 2011, Asia-Plus -- A working group (WG) for implementation of the national target program to prevent drug addiction and counter drug trafficking in Tajikistan (2008-2012) met at the Drug Control Agency (DCA) on December 21, the DCA press center reports.
This year-end concluding meeting brought together representatives from the ministries of interior, education and health, the committees for youth affairs, TV and radio-broadcasting, as well as family and women’s affairs, the state committee for national security and the prosecutor-general’s office to discuss the progress of implementation of the mentioned program.
The meeting participants suggested that work on preventing drug addiction and countering drug trafficking in the territory of our country must be intensified, the source said.
