DUSHANBE, January 3, 2012, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament has considered the draft law on protection of atmospheric air at a January 2 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered issues related to ratification of the government-to-government agreements of Tajikistan with Austria and Luxembourg on the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
The meeting also considered the issue of transferring MP Akramsho Felaliyev from the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on International Affairs and Public Associations to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Legislation and Human Rights.
The next sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation will take place on January 11, Sultonov said.
