DUSHANBE, January 13, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Tajik ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will organize week-long advanced training courses for its regional, district and city functionaries at the end of this month, Usmon Solehov, head of the party’s public relations, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, Tajik known political scientists, researchers and specialists from the Government Civil Servants Training Institute will be invited to conduct the courses.
Founded in 1993, the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan is the biggest political party in Tajikistan. Its chairman is President Emomali Rahmon. The party now controls some 70 percent of seats in the lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament. It is the largest party, boasting more than 150,000 registered members. The official newspaper of the party is Minbari Khalq .
