DUSHANBE, March 1, 2012, Asia-Plus  -- On Wednesday February 29, Rahimjon Nosirov, Tajik Consul General in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) met with Mr. Salem bin Obaid Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the sides discussed issues related to construction of small hydroelectric power plant (HPP) “Vanj” in Gorno Badakhshan.

The Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charity will finance the project to build the mentioned small HPP in Gorno Badakhshan.

On the same day, Nosirov met with Hamad Buamim, Director General of Dubai’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The sides discussed a number of issues related to trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the source said.
