DUSHANBE, March 15, 2012, Asia-Plus -- On Wednesday March 14, Mr. Homidullokhon Faqerov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan, met here with Mr. Abelardo Hernandez Ferrer, Ambassador of Cuba to Central Asia’s nations, the press center of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (EDT) said.
In the course of the talks, the two reportedly considered issues related to establishment of bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Tajikistan and Cuba.
Tajik official outlined sectors like mining and tourism, as areas of which could drive bilateral trade between the two countries.
Both sides vowed to take efforts to expand bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Cuba in the mentioned fields, the source said.
