DUSHANBE, March 30, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Some 11 kilograms of narcotics have been seized in a single operation in Dushanbe.
The Interior Ministry press center reports that Tajik national Ashraf Ghulomov, who has previous conviction for drug pushing, was arrested in Dushanbe yesterday on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking. “2.6 kilograms of cannabis and more than 8.2 kilograms of hashish were confiscated from him,” the source said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug pusher and an investigation is under way.
