DUSHANBE, August 13, 2012, Asia-Plus – The first meeting of the commission for holding the melon and honey festival took place at the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) on August 13.

An official source at a MoA says the festival will be held across the country on September 2.  Events dedicated to this festival will be held in Dushanbe’s districts and all provincial capitals and district administrative centers.

Other agricultural goods like meats, fishes, vegetables and others will also be put on display in the festival along with melons and honeys, the source added.
