DUSHANBE, August 24, 2012, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday August 23, Tajik Ambassador to Pakistan Zubaydullo Zubaydov met with Mr. Nasir Ali Shah Bukhari, the Chairman of the KASB (Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari) Group of Companies.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the two discussed a broad range of issues related to state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
Tajik diplomat outlined construction sector and launch of joint ventures with targeted investments in specific branches of Tajikistan’s economy as areas of which could drive the bilateral trade between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
Pakistani entrepreneur reportedly supported that proposal and noted that KASB had the vast financial opportunities for investment in various branches of economy.
KASB could also provide assistance with enhancement of sectors of Tajikistan’s economy like banking, minerals, tourism and freight service, Mr. Nasir Ali Shah Bukhari noted.
He added that his company has the opportunities to assist with organization of air communication between the two countries, the source said.
The KASB top manager also declared for establishment of business relations with Tajikistan’s Agency fro State Material Reserves and supply of Pakistani food products to Tajikistan.
