DUSHANBE, January 31, 2014, Asia-Plus -- More than 57 kilograms of drugs have been seized in three separate operations carried out by officers from the State Committee for National Security (SCNS)’s office in the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), the SCNS public relations center reported Friday afternoon.
The operation carried out in the Shugnan district reportedly led to the seizure of 32 kilograms of hashish.
Afghan drug pusher has been detained in the operation carried out in the Rushan district and 11 kilograms of hashish and Makarov pistol have been confiscated from him.
The third operation that has also been carried out in the Shugnan district has led to the seizure of 13.5 kilograms of narcotics, the source said.
