DUSHANBE, March 7, 2011, Asia-Plus - Issues related to implementation of joint interstate projects in energy and industrial sectors were discussed here on March 4 at a meeting of Tajik Finance Minister Safarali Najmiddinov with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Tajikistan Bandar Mohammed Jameel, according to the Finance Ministry press service.
In the course of the talks, the sides exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Saudi Arabia. The process of implementation of joint interstate projects in sectors like energy, industry, finance, and agriculture as well as strengthening of trade cooperation between the two countries and attraction of investments for development of Tajikistan’s economy and entrepreneurship were among major topics of the meeting.
They also discussed implementation or projects sponsored by the Saudi Fund for Development and the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the source said.
