DUSHANBE, March 11, 2011, Asia-Plus  -- An international money transfer system, UNIStream, has strengthened its partnership network in Tajikistan through successful implementation of an integration project in cooperation with  FINCA MicroDeposit LLC, the UNIStream press service reports.

Now, clients may remit and receive money through the FINCA MicroDeposit LLC branches in the country.  Headquartered in Dushanbe, FINCA MicroDeposit LLC has its branches in Hissar, Kulob and Khujand.  Money transfers are available in Russian rubles, dollars and euros.

“Taking into account the fact that Tajikistan is becoming more attractive direction of money transfers, the UNIStream management is currently implementing an intensive program to develop the company’s service point network in the country,” said the source, “In Tajikistan, UNIStream collaborates with 13 financial institutions and the number of service points here is nearing 700.”

In 2010, UNIStream’s turnover in Tajikistan reached 367 million U.S. dollars and the number of transactions reached 831,000.
