DUSHANBE, April 20, 2011, Asia-Plus -- State and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Korea in different fields were discussed here yesterday at a meeting of Safarali Najmiddinov, Minister of Finance of Tajikistan, and Ro Song-Min (phonetically spelled), Charge d’Affaires, the Embassy of Korea, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Secretariat reported.
The two reportedly exchanged views on bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea in sectors like finance, energy, industry and trade. They also discussed cooperation in processing farm produce, building roads and attracting investments for development of entrepreneurship in Tajikistan.
Safarali Najmiddinov and Ro Song-Min also discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries in fields of science and technologies as well as training of personnel for Tajikistan.
Najmiddinov, in particular, noted that Tajikistan was interested in further expansion of close cooperation with the Republic of Korea that promoted economic development of Tajikistan.
