DUSHANBE, May 5, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajik-Vietnamese joint venture engaged in silkworm breeding, VT-Silk, will reportedly award a Vietnam travel’s voucher to the best Tajik silkworm breeder this year.
To promote development of silkworm breeding in the country and increase professional skills of local silkworm breeders the silkworm breeding department at the Ministry of Energy and Industries (MoEI) has initiated the competition among Tajik silkworm breeders this year, the source at a MoEI said.
“The silkworm breeder who will win the competition will be given the Vietnam travel’s voucher provided by VT-Silk,” said the source. “The silkworm breeder who will take the second place will be awarded with a TV set and two silkworm breeders that will take the third place will be awarded with bikes and three other silkworm breeders will be awarded with prize money of 300.00 somoni each.”
Besides, limited liability company, Dustii Afghoniston, will give a car to the silkworm breeding enterprise that will take the first place. The enterprise that will take the second place will be awarded with the prize money of 3,000 somoni and the enterprise that will take the third place will be awarded with the prize money of 2,000 somoni.
Dustii Afghoniston also plans to award the top ten silkworm breeders. They will be awarded with 300.00 somoni each and 20 silkworm breeders following them will be awarded with 200.00 somoni each.
