DUSHANBE, October 3, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Friday September 30, President Emomali Rahmon signed a decree introducing moratorium on inspection of entrepreneurs engaged in the production sphere beginning on October 1, the presidential press service reports.
Under this decree, enterprises creating new production facilities and using new technologies for expansion of production are exempted from all kinds of inspection for three years.
This measure is reportedly aimed at promoting development of entrepreneurial activity in the production sphere, attraction of investments, modern technology deliveries into the country, creation of new production capacity and jobs, and gradual increase in domestic production.
The moratorium does not apply to enterprises against which criminal proceedings have been instituted, the source added.
