DUSHANBE, October 28, 2011, Asia-Plus  -- The exchange rate for the dollar (USD) against the somoni (TJS) has fallen a little over the past week, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT)’s press center reports.

Over the past week, the exchange rate for USD against TJS at the currency exchange offices across the country has reportedly been 1:4.81.

In the meantime, average exchange rates for the Russian ruble and the euro against the somoni have increased over the report period and amounted to 1:0.1555 and 1:6.63 respectively.

According to Tajik central bank, yesterday, the exchange rate for USD against TJS at the currency exchange offices in Dushanbe was 1:4819.

An official exchange rate for USD against TJS set by the National Bank of Tajikistan increased from 1:4.7527 on October 21 to 1:4.7536 on October 28.
