DUHANBE, January 23, 2012 Asia-Plus -- Dushanbe International Airport had to suspend operations today morning due to a tight fog.
According to the Dushanbe International Airport press center, arriving flights from the Russian cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg have been transferred to the airport in Khujand, the capital of Sughd province.
Operations of Dushanbe International Airport will resume once the fog lifts and weather conditions improve, the source said.
We will recall that operations at the Dushanbe airport were suspended due to heavy snow and fog on December 5 as well.
