DUSHANBE, February 2, 2012, Asia-Plus -- Ms. Olga Gavruk, Ambassador of Belarus to Tajikistan, yesterday visited the Dushanbe-based limited liability company, Yoqout-2000.
According to the Migration Service, Ambassador Gavruk got acquainted with enterprise’s production capacity and discussed with the company top managers issues related to cooperation between economic entities of the two countries, the source said.
They, in particular, considered the possibility of launching joint ventures for producing furniture and making shoes in Tajikistan.
The sides also discussed delivery of elevators and medical equipment from Belarus to Tajikistan, the source added.
Yoqout-2000 now actively cooperates with joint-stock company (JSC) Mogotex, which is the largest textile producer in Belarus.
Mogotex now manufactures and sells a wide range of fabrics for industrial wear and uniforms, raincoat fabrics, fabrics for special equipment and haberdashery, lining, decorative, upholstery, technical fabrics, curtain and knitted fabrics, special wear and home textile goods.
