DUSHANBE, June 18, 2012, Asia-Plus -- A small hydroelectric power plant has been introduced into operation in the Kuhistoni Mastchoh district, Sughd province.
Nozirjon Yodgori, a spokesman for Barqi Tojik (the state-owned utility responsible for generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity in Tajikistan), says an official ceremony of introducing the 500 kW Kuhiston HPP into operation took place on June 17.
