DUSHANBE, January 8, 2013, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s average annual inflation rate at the end of 2012 was estimated 6.4 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
Consumer prices and rates for services rendered to the population rose only 0.1 percent in December.
We will recall that the Tajik authorities expect year-end inflation to stand at 10.5 percent in 2012.
Tajikistan’s yea-end inflation stood at 9.3 percent in 2011 and at 9.0 percent in 2010.
Specialists from Tajik central bank expect year-end inflation to stand at 9.0 percent this year.
