DUSHANBE, April 2, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The eighth meeting of the Tajik-Belarusian intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation is taking place in Dushanbe today.
Co-chaired by Tajik Minister of Agriculture Qosim Qosimov and Belarusian Minister of Agriculture and Food Leonid Zayats, the meeting is expected to discuss agreements reached between the two nations during the seventh meeting of the commission that was held in Minsk, Belarus on October 21-22, 2010.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) of Tajikistan, the sides are also considering issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation over the past two years and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus.
