DUSHANBE, April 12, 2013, Asia-Plus – Issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine were a major topic of a meeting of Tajik Minister of Finance, Safarali Najmididnov, with Ukraine’s Ambassador to Tajikistan, Viktor Nikityuk, which took place here on April 12.
According to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) Secretariat, the two, in particular, exchanged views on bilateral cooperation between their countries in banking and financial sector.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Ukraine in sectors like energy, agriculture and industry.
The sides also considered joint projects that could facilitate further development of Tajikistan’s economy, the source said.
Najmiddinov and Nikityuk also discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of Ukrainian president to Tajikistan.
