DUSHANBE, May 15, 2013, Asia-Plus – The 12th session of the Tajik-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation will take place in Dushanbe from may 16-17.
Co-chaired by Tajik Minister of Transport Nizom Hakimov and Kyrgyz Minister of Transport and Communications Kalykbek Sultanov, the session is expected to consider a number of issues related to state and prospects of further expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
The previous 11th session of the commission took place in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in June last year. The sides discussed bilateral industrial and energy cooperation as well as rational use of water-and-energy resources in the region.
