DUSHANBE, July 16, 2013, Asia-Plus -- An overall space of more than 300,000 square meters in residential buildings has been made available in Tajikistan during the first six months of this year, according to the Agency for Construction and Architecture under the Government of Tajikistan.
Over the same six-month period, general educational schools to accommodate 2,536 pupils and hospitals with a total of 100 beds have been put into operation and polyclinics that can handle 312 visits per shift have been introduced.
To-date, municipal redevelopment plans for 30 cities and district administrative centers have been worked out, an official source at the Agency for Construction and Architecture said.
He further added that they were currently working on updating redevelopment plans for Panjakent, Qairoqqum, Muminobod, Ghonchi, Vose, Jomi, Bokhtar and Vanj.
