DUSHANBE, July 23, 2013, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan’s investment projects portfolio is currently being estimated at 2 billion U.S. dollars, according to the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest).
55 investment projects are currently being implemented in Tajikistan and more than 5.9 billion somoni (equivalent to more than 1.2 billion USD) were drawn as of July 1, 2013, which is 60.3 percent of the portfolio’s volume.
Grants reportedly account for 40 percent (some 818,000 USD) of the overall amount of the portfolio and they have gone to financing eleven projects in various sectors of the country’s economy
