DUSHANBE, July 26, 2013, Asia-Plus -- On Thursday July 25, Mr. Sharif Said, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) met here with Mr. Charn Jullamon, Ambassador of Thailand to Tajikistan (with residence in Astana, Kazakhstan).
According to the CCI press center, Thai diplomat noted that the purpose of the visit was for him to prepare an official visit of the Prime Minister of Thailand, Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, to Tajikistan, who will also participate in the High-Level International Conference on Water Cooperation that is expected to take place in Dushanbe from August 20-21.
In the framework of Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra’s visit to Tajikistan, a Tajik-Thai business forum is expected to take place in Dushanbe.
Tajik CCI head, for his part, noted that CCI was ready to provide assistance with arrangement of the business forum.
He briefed Mr. Charn Jullamon on international ties of Tajik CCI and Tajikistan’s potentials. Sharif Said also proposed to hold an exhibition of Thailand in Tajikistan in the near future.
