DUSHANBE, September 3, 2013, Asia-Plus – Second meeting of the Tajik-Azerbaijani inter-governmental commission on trade and economic cooperation is being held in the Azerbaijani capital.
The Tajik delegation is headed in for this event by Melioration and Water Resources Minister, Rahmat Babakalanov, and the Azerbaijani side is headed by Economic Development Minister, Shahin Mustafayev.
Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information Department reports that the parties plan to discuss issues related to expansion of trade between two countries, development of cooperation on industry, agriculture, information technologies, as well as bilateral cooperation in culture and sport spheres during the three day meeting.
According to the published information, the parties will also discuss perspectives for investment cooperation, including the formation of joint business forums in order to develop trade and business relations, and holding various fares and exhibitions in both countries.
At the end of the meeting a protocol of the Tajik-Azerbaijani inter-governmental commission meeting on trade and economic cooperation will be signed on integrated treatment of bilateral issues on the agenda.
