DUSHANBE, October 30, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has annulled licenses of a number of lending agencies this week.
Abdughaffor Qurbonov, a spokesman for Tajik central bank, says the license of Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Somonbonk was annulled on October 28.
“The National Bank of Tajikistan also annulled licenses of the following microlending organizations: Grant-Kredit; Zanoni Mehrubon; Kulchshma; Vatanam; Askamr; Jonsouz; Nasreen; and Noushor,” Qurbonov said.
18 banks, 36 microdeposit organizations, 44 microlending organizations and 46 microfinance funds now operate in Tajikistan.
