DUSHANBE, November 5, 2013, Asia-Plus -- A Working Group (WG) has started drafting the law on inspection of activities of economic entities in Tajikistan in new edition, according to the State Committee on Investments and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest).
The first meeting of the Working Group was held in Dushanbe on November 4 and representatives of government bodies and International Finance Corporation (IFC) reportedly participated in the meeting.
The working group to draft the law on inspection of activities of economic entities in new edition was set up on September 10 this year. The WG members include senior representatives of president’s office and ministries of justice, health, economic development and trade, and finance as well as two representatives of the private sector.
Currently, there are 20 government bodies in Tajikistan that are authorized to inspect economic entities. In the new law, the number of inspecting bodies will be reduced.
