DUSHANBE, November 28, 2013, Asia-Plus – An enlarged meeting of the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) took place on November 28.
According to the NBT press service, senior representatives of local lending organizations also attended the meeting that reviewed the results of the work carried out by Tajik central bank over the first nine months of this year.
The meeting reportedly discussed the current macroeconomic and financial situation in the country, banking systems, the payment system’s activity in January-September, the current situation in the country’s currency market, etc.
The meeting participants offered specific measures to remove existing shortcomings and improve activity of banks and banking system of the country.
The National Bank of Tajikistan is the central bank of Tajikistan. The Bank is engaged in developing policies to promote financial inclusion and is a member of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
