DUSHANBE, January 14, 2014, Asia-Plus -- On Monday January 13, Chairman of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Sharif Said met here with China’s Ambassador to Tajikistan Fan Xianrong, according to the CCI press center.
The two reportedly discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral economic cooperation between Tajikistan and China.
CCI head noted that a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Business Council will take place under the chairmanship of Tajikistan in Beijing on January 21, 2014. The meeting is expected to discuss ways to strengthen neighborliness, friendship and economic cooperation between the SCO member nations, Sharif Said noted.
Mr. Fan, for his part, noted that bilateral cooperation between China and Tajikistan reached a good level and underlined the significance of holding exhibitions and business forums for further expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries, the CCI press center noted.
