DUSHANBE, February 9, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajikistan has reportedly raised the prices of patents for individual activity.

At the end of the last week, the Tax Committee under the Government of Tajikistan published the list of individual activities, for which patent is required.

Thus, the monthly price of patent for the paid public lavatories has increased from 180.00 somoni (120.00 somoni in income tax plus 60.00 somoni in social tax) to 201 somoni (133.00 somoni in income tax plus 68.00 somoni in social tax).    

The monthly price of patent for wedding singers has also increased considerably -- from 540.00 somoni (440.00 somoni in income tax plus 100.00 somoni in social tax) to 601 somoni (490.00 somoni in income tax plus 112.00 somoni in social tax).   

Since last year, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has reportedly been authorized to set and index the patent rates taking into consideration the inflation rate.
