DUSHANBE, May 20, 2015, Asia-Plus -- According to the monthly report for May 2015, Monitoring and Early Warning in Tajikistan , a total electricity generation in April 2015 was 1,257 million kilowatt-hours (kWh).
Electricity generation in April reportedly decreased by 16% compared to March 2015.
Last month, Tajikistan supplied 43.9 million kWh of electricity to Afghanistan, nearly 35 percent less than in March 2015.
In March 2015, Tajikistan reportedly supplied nearly 66.5 million kWh of electricity to Afghanistan.
Over the first four months of this year, Tajikistan has supplied nearly 220 million kWh of electricity to the neighboring country.
