DUSHANBE, July 3, 2015, Asia-Plus -- The Ministry of Transport (MoT) plans to use part of loan provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for construction of a three-level traffic interchange in Dushanbe’s neighborhood 82.
An official source at a MoT says the ministry intends to make the preliminary selection of companies and consortiums for participation in the tender for construction of the traffic interchange.
Both local and foreign companies have the right to participate in the preliminary selection, the source said.
According to him, the traffic interchange is part of the project aiming at rehabilitating a vital road linking Dushanbe with the Uzbekistan border via Hisor Valley and the town of Tursunzoda.
